SafeWaste Pilot Program

The Solid Waste Department will be implementing a new lid lock pilot program for the roll-out cans used by the city. With the addition of a lid lock, we can help resolve the issue of trash escaping the roll-out cans due to wind gusts, and keep Carlsbad beautiful.

International Fire Code

The City of Carlsbad has adopted the International Fire Code version 2021 by ordinance. The current adopted code can be found in the Code of Ordinances in the 2021 edition of the International Fire Code.
