HOUSE CHECKS

The Carlsbad Police Department provides ‘house checks’ for the general public when they are going to be away from their home for extended periods of time. An officer will be advised that your home has been placed on the house check and during different times of the day and/or night, and officer will check the security of your residence. That responding officer can then (if you so choose) leave you notification that they have completed their house check.

Contact the Dispatch Center at (575) 885-2111, option #0, to have your home placed on the list.
