The City of Carlsbad Community Development Department oversees five (5) City facilities/departments:

  • The Lake Carlsbad Golf Course
  • Cavern City Air Terminal
  • Carlsbad Water Park
  • Bob Forrest Youth Sports Complex,
  • Facility Maintenance.

The department is also responsible for several other facilities, projects, and leased properties including:

  • National Cave and Karst Institute
  • Community Kitchen
  • Literacy Building
