The 18-hole Carlsbad Disc Golf Course winds through some of Carlsbad’s most beautiful park area, including the Bataan Recreation Area and MLK Jr. Park. The course, established in 2009, features concrete pads and DISCcatcher holes. The course plays along both sides of the railroad track near Lower Tansil Dam of the Pecos River and includes one shot over the water. Each tee includes a recreational and an advanced path; several public bathrooms are located within the course.
